Paper Straws....who knew?

When we were at Sea World earlier this month we found these:

We were buying our lunch there in the park (and totally got scalped by the way) and we picked up our straws to sip our 12 oz., $3.50 beverages and were shocked when we found that the straws are made of PAPER! I've never seen this before! I found them fascinating! Of course they are nothing like the bright red Sonic straws that we love so much with their quarter inch girth. But fabulous none the less. On our way out of the eating area, I grabbed a big ol' handful to try to compensate for the spanking we received at the register. Here's Aly at home sipping out of one of the awesome straws I kifed from Shamu.
